Whole lotta nuthin' from what I can see. I guess that really does make the product "Ninja".

Good luck with the hype Kawi ... Still wondering why they didn't go all the way on the latest Z1000 ...

SDNerd is again reminded of Andersen's "Emperor's New Clothes".
I wonder where Kawasaki got the idea of a website released in stages but still not give you the information you want . . . http://www.1290superduker.com/cms/

all true, but it is time for someone to really shake up the industry. this may be the bike to do it. if not someone will eventually...
I quite like it. Like the frame. (And the carbon ha ha)

But I do wish the Japanese would stop over-designing every little bit of bodywork and component. Altogether it is just visually far too complicated and fractured. If you gave this concept to an MV Augusta team they would improve it immediately just by simplifying things. But I'm just talking aesthetics here.
Oh god.

Please please don't actually build this Kwaker......

Pointless overkill, I already own a ZZR1400, how much more power do I want???

No. No.

I must not, I must not, I must not etc etc etc
Wonder how well it will handle anything but a straight.

Come to think of it I'm not sure how I would feel putting 300 hp on the edge of a street tyre...

200hp street legal version to be released at EICMA...which I imagine everyone will tune back up to 300hp

Looking at some other pics it does seem to have a longer wheelbase than the sportsbike 1000s. A sports/hyper bike cross over for the mega rich. Still good to see something new out there.
first Jap bike that i have seen that i really really want... it may kill me but damn what a way to go...

I wonder at what attitude those wings become violent air brakes? Better have really good wheelie control with 300 bhp.
The street version price is estimated at $40kUS and track $80kUS

Looks like the invoice was a bodge up. Probably put together by someone from yamaha on their lunch break.

No price confirmations yet? All we know is like 10 are coming to the UK?......

I just wish that this bike could have been a 750 three cylinder two stroke with today's technology.
.

Saw this on Jay Leno's garage.

Think of the electronics to make 300 bhp rideable.....

Got the email from kawasaki today. 25K plus $345 shipping U.S. Plus the 1K per month insurance is going to cost you. I like the fact that you can take off full throttle and the launch control will sort it out...awesome.
230+kg...........They can keep the fecking thing
And now, here it really is: http://www.kawasaki.com/Products/2015-Ninja-H2R

$50K USD. You know Batman already popped for a couple of them.

It's, well, insane. LOL - "Vehicle Warranty: The H2R is sold “As is” with no warranties, express or implied. The purchaser accepts all responsibilities concerning cost of service, maintenance and repairs." Also read the bit about the tyres and "Vehicle Maintenance".

OK- so when we start seeing these at the track (and we will ...), we all know full well that the owners won't know how to turn the damn things, does anyone believe that all the trickery will really get the well-heeled novices (with the egos to ride in expert" classes) out of corners any quicker on one of these things?
I'll pass on the H2 and go with YOU MIGHT ALSO LIKE option thanks

What worries me about that H2 is the frame looks like green spaghetti

My KTM dealer, who also sells Kawasakis, called and tried to get me to buy the H2R (50K) or the H2 street (25K). He can get one of each. Sadly I had to decline, no hay dinero.
As an owner of the original H2 I have no interest in anyone posting about the new H2 unless they actually own one and can tell me what it's actually like.

Otherwise ....you have nothing to say do you?

am i the only one dissapointed with the h2 (not h2r, i truly love that thing)? I was looking at the specs, not really any more powerful than the zx10. What a waste...

h2r with an extra 100hp is another story altogether...

meh... lost interest in it now... maybe i will just get a 690smcr like i have been pining for, for all these years.

I would go the new R1 over the H2!
Just make a big two stroke Kawasaki instead of this dumb H2
