#3It would be a nightmare to keep clean!

#4Don't like the head light, looks like a 220kg bike.
Post 5 by AGRO!,
#5Yes the head lights plus all that front Assembly has to go just looks way to messy.
Post 6 by BrandonH,
#6should name it bumblebee!!!

Post 7 by Aphex,
#7Looks too airy, it's not a cohesive design IMO.
They used a modified FZ09 tail section and the same ugly ass tail light, looks like they used an FZ07 gas tank. Then just slapped a bunch of shit on the front to make it look like a Brasse 31BLK kit.

#9oh man i like it, but yeah the front end is hideous!!!!!
Post 10 by Stratkat,
#10might be worth it though for the reliability alone!
Post 11 by AGRO!,
#11too late to the party !!!
Post 12 by DribbleDuke,
#12For some unexplained reason every time I look at the front of this bike I see this.....

Post 13 by AGRO!,
#13Not too late. I like this bike and idea. It does seem a little late to the party. The sound of the cross plane motor is music to my ears. I'll bet this bike is a winner. I love the transformer front and think that Yamaha hit this one out of the park.
Honda could learn a few lessons in design from Yamaha. I give this one High Marx, Groucho's cooler brother

#14I'm with you drib on the sound of the cross plain engine they sound sweet!
Maybe the bike will look better in the flesh but that front looks a bit to much.
Its a bit like the aprillia tuono v4 the front on the first model looks a bit crap but they go good enough to forget about the looks.

#16Looks Fugly and let's wait till we see how nasty some of the parts are up close. The MT07 finish didn't fair well in MCN and that's before it had seen a winter.
Post 17 by Lowrance,
#17Poor Honda ... you all are envious because you can't afford the RC213V-S, or the additional $12K package to get the extra 112 HP.

Post 19 by Aphex,
#19I know a local guy that has bought one. He said the 112hp is a bit ridiculous but that because of the light weight it feels like most litre bikes that make 160 to 170hp acceleration wise and way more flickable and precise.
If I had massive amounts of disposable cash, like the 1% do, I would purchase one but I'd be on the first plane to Europe to buy the power up kit.

#20Instead of the Honda I would get the Yamaha R1 M but I think there all sold out DOH!!
But what's the deal with Honda? It would be like Kawasaki selling the H2 but you have to buy the super charger separately?

#21I don't understand why they wouldn't have a Raven edition right off the bat. Maybe they will, who knows. But I think a matte paint job would soften the blow of the front end.

#31With the exception of the greenish/yellowish rims the bike is growing on me looks wise.
Cross plane crank is a winner and Yamaha reliability. Different at least.

#33All of these Japanese nakeds are just plain butt ugly. Even the BMW S1000R looks better and I used to get shit all the time from my buddies about how that bike looked. The old (last year) Tuono V4 with the "Transformer" front looked better. I'm pretty sure that improved aesthetics would sure help to sell more of those bikes but the Japanese are marching to a different drummer and then complain about how the bikes don't sell. At least in the U.S.
