This is starting to get to me more and more... It's on eBay, it's on Biketrader and I've just had a look at MCN's bikemart...

So, here I'm sitting without a bike, without any news from the insurance company. Once in a while I drift off to check out the market-place. I search for SuperDukes for sale. Having done a bit of research on the subject I know that 2007 KTM updated the model with, for example, radial brakes.
There's sooooooooooooooooo many bikes out there that are advertised as 2007 or 2008 models when they blatantly are not. I'd understand if this was a once off incident, but there's just sooo many.

Am I poppin' a vein here in vain.... or do I get a group hug to calm my f**king nerves...

.... See... I need a bike just to keep me from turning into this sour piece of sh*t old fart.... aaaarrrgh...!

Well, it seems we're finally through to the insurance underwriter's "Total Loss" squad. They apparently need to figure out that it really is me claiming for my bike and that my bike was legit (M.O.T'd etc). I.e paperwork. Then the assessor needs to come up with a value of the bike (donning the gloves). Luckily I was told that the paperwork won't hinder the pay-out. Luckily (No. II) all the paperwork is tickety-boo, so I have nothing to worry about on that front.

But without a bike in the garage, I'm really turning into a sour, grumpy, old, geezer... Stay away....!
