Police Question......

I was on my way home from work around 11:00pm cruising down the highway and decided to grab the throttle. got up to about 115mph then got back down to the speed limit (70mph). About a minute or so later I had a cop right on my ass. I am assuming he was heading south on the highway when I was heading north and he did a U-turn when he saw/heard me scooting along. He never pulled me over but he did ride my ass for a bit.
Am I in the clear?

I'm sure your heart was beating a mile a minute too. If he didn't light up his LED's and pull your speeding ass over, you are certainly in the clear, hope this was a lesson to you to never do that in darkness, you can't tell if the car coming the other way is a Police vehicle, but better yet, don't do it at all, save it for the track. Take this advice from someone who was pulled over for 142 in a 55, 16 years ago, 6 grand later, lawyered up, sentenced to 200 hours community service and lost license for 2 years. Just not worth the thrill of the moment.

The key is to keep your plate impossible to read with dirt, and be a better rider than they are driver. J/k

Seriously though, that's a ton of cash for a little thrill.
