It's the beginning of a new year, and the police dept. is hurting financially like (practically) everyone else - so they are on the hunt for revenue. I got stopped (in the cage) the other night for supposedly not stopping at a stop sign at the end of my street. The rookie explained they had been "instructed" to find every law breaker & generate income. fookers.
Keep your heads on a swivel, their attention span won't last but a couple of weeks, and things will be back to normal.
