Not my 990 but met a guy while fuelling up on recent trip to Phillip Island with 130 thousand kays on his 990.
Said he pulled the top end to check cam chain etc and found they were well within spec so left all as was.

90k road miles (plus unknown race miles).

Embarrasingly low 7,500 miles.

I bought the bike last June with 4400 so I've ridden it for 3000 miles in 8 months. Like I said, embarrasingly low.

Although on my 2nd SD, but bought from new 6 years ago, I am just knocking on the door of 20,000 miles. I don't ride in the winter,( too painful, and salt rots bikes) but when I do go out,I regularly do 100 miles in no time. As a thought, who else bought their bike from new and how long have you owned it ? My bike is now the longest I've ever owned a bike for

05 990 - 26.000km's

When I sold the 990 it had 45 000km on it without issue.

Didn't Klinks old bike have a rebuild at about 100 000 miles?

5500 miles on my 15 1290 and put the same or more on my other bike in that time.

209 miles on my 2015 Super Duke 1290.

Haven't a clue - early SD990 so either looking at the time or how many miles the fuel light's been on!!

7200 on my 2015 1290 I bought new in march, all play miles I do my 2 up and commuting on a GTL. I would lose my license if I didn't have a mellow 2nd bike on hand, i'll probably lose it anyhow with this beast!

Well, Katy Em just clicked over 50,000 miles this weekend. Bought new in May 2014, it's eaten about 28 rear tyres, 20 fronts, on it's 2nd chain & front sprocket, 3rd set of front & rear brake pads. No significant failures of any kind. Wobbly wheel which measured just under allowable limit is still under allowable limit.
Everything about it feels brand new. I've never had a bike that ran this well for this long with so little fiddling and I've lost track of how many I've owned (over 30 for sure in 50 years of riding, all well-used).
This is one truly great motorcycle.
