RIP BMW S1000RR

Well my bike is no more so im on the look out for another bike again...lol so its either a APRC aprillia rsv4 ltd edition or the new 2011 zx10r or another bimmers,any way enjoy the pics or not...lol ps i didnt walk away from this one although i did try but they kept holding me down as i had no pain anywhere,adrenalin is a awsome thing.....

broken left forearm 6 hour op to sort it with ti plates and screws
broken right wrist
fooked right knee
knocked out
whiplash
right side torn inside thigh muscle
left side torn thigh muscle
black and blue from knees to my belly button
balls the size of a pineapple
hematoma in groin the size of a cricket ball
hurt my back
dizzy spells
head aches
forgetting stuff since crash
still got my fooked up sense of humour so if any one wants a pic of my pineapple balls let me know,if i post it now it will get deleted by mods...lol


long story short over taking a jeep and trailer doing around 50-60mph nice dry day straight road nothing coming from in front or behindhe turns in to me and wiped me out,i aimed for the gap which was where the jeep decided to turn in to with no indicators no brake lights and didnt even slow down to turn in to hidden entrance..???,bikes a write off cracked frame near steering neckand im healing ok ,happened 3 weeks ago on the a470 ,got a helicopter ride and loads of morphine which was cool......

4-6 six weeks i'll be back riding so im getting either a track bike or mx bike for the winter until my new bike gets delivered in march 2011.....happy days....

BUZZ. I thought about you riding home tonight. Didn't that flash bike have a switch/setting on the handlebars for not hitting farm vehicles? I thought BMW had thought of everything to make it easy for their riders.

My friend that crashed at 50 KM/h suffered less than you, but the blue and black skin took 3 months to go a bit away, and he still has pain sitting down.. good thing you have the winter to wait in

Get well soon. Been there done that, got the T-shirt. It's good your eager to get back on the bike. Post some pics up of the screws and plates attached to your bones. Remember...chicks dig scars!

Sorry for your pain. It is a good reminder how vulnerable we are on bikes.
Signals from other drivers would not be the end all of accidents, but would certainly cut down many. It looks like you were riding with buds, no?
What they say about the situation? I hope the dirt thing works out for you this winter with a quick recovery. We all love our SuperDukes on this site and are a little hesitant to recomend you purchasing one of them again. For fear that you'll take one out and crash it. You seem very focused on a track bike type, take it to the track. Or purchase a street bike and ride it like you are on the street. What can happen, will.
Please, a quick recovery, and keep us posted.
