rotator cuff repair

any out there had one?

two weeks today since mine (full thickness tear and bone scraped out) and im over it. Cant ride or drive or do much.

another five weeks in the sling, physio reckons 12 weeks before riding again !!!

What tha !!??

Not had the fix....yet I have partly torn my right rotator cuff twice and also had a full A/C sepperation of it. I have been reluctent to have it worked on as I have heard that it dosent always work. Keep us posted on your recovery, I would like to hear how it works out for you.

main problem part of rotator cuff is the supraspinatus tendon. got it stiched back together and anchored, and some bone taken out from under ac joint area...

It's been 8 months since my surgery...torn rotator, torn labrum, torn bicep and bone spur. I'm no spring chicken, but the recovery is good. I'm back to full activities but not quite back to full strength, a few months yet. Therapy, therapy, therapy.

Yep sounds much the same as me - all going as well as has been forecast by the surgeon & physio - and yep, therapy therapy therapy.
Looking for ward to a ride - surgeon says not allowed for ages yet... Im twicthing, rocking backward and forward and dribbling - gotta ride soon!
