Hope everyone on here who live's on the eastern seaboard got through this storm safe,,very nasty to say the least,,,,,,waited all day for the huge tree that stands next to me barn to fall on it,,,,it didn't,,,also didn't get to use my new Husky saw,,,next time,,,so we're" high n dry" in Mass,,,,
are you sure you are out of the woods yet?
been getting progresively worse all day here just lost power
Upstate NY is ok.. No rain nor wind at midnight.

3:30 AM and the moon is out,,,wind is gone,,,rain has stopped,,,,,,never lost power,,,,SD is safe,,,,,when the sun rises will be able to see what's up outside,,,,,,,at least it didn't snow this time around,,
I had a look at some footage on YouTube looks wild.

was just going to IM you Maddog, glad you made it thru ok. i thought it was going to be much worse here in Virginia (we lose power here all the time in much lesser storms) but the lights didnt even flicker, very puzzled by this but relieved.
I was at work (firefighter/medic) just south of DC and we had one of the quietest shifts ever. The most action was helping a little old lady take her medicine and fix her some food cause her home nurse didn't come by. The wind was very intense in the evening but I suppose after the pretty good storms of all types we've had over the last couple of years most of the weaker trees had been taken care of.

Sounds like the storm came ashore at NJMP, hope the track is ok.
Many of us here in NYC are without power and without water. Strangely I have enough beer to drown a rugby team.
Seen some of the devastation on news and TV, hope you all and family/friends got off as lightly as possible.
