So, an 06 or 07 SD?

OK looking to getting an SD, was definitely thinking of an 07 one now a few people mentioned the 06 was a bit more lairy.

no matter which one i get I will get some akros and a remap.

So what are the reasons for getting an 06 or an 07, bigger tank seems a good idea on the 07 after that though I have no idea what the big differences really are.

Oh and is this the right place? its SD related but didnt seem to fit anywhere else

Murvalous, people are not so picky here so don't sweat it, whare eva it is... the 06 has more power typically, I am no authority cos 07 was our first year here.

People do complain of short distance fuel tank, but I will soon be getting carbon fiber fuel tanks and they will be the larger size, watch this space.

I was told the carbon fibre tank from KTM was a quarter of the total cost of the bike here in Oz.

I dont mind teh 06 cowl, its nice!! I prefer the dials too....I'd say perhaps the brakes are maybe better on the 07 but the 06 doesnt lack anything in that dept anyway!

100 miles between fill ups on my 16/40 gearing is fine and the control with that gearing is awesome!

One thing we're all agreed on, the 06 heel plates are the best!

you will be truly happy with either.

I have 06, I fill up when others get a sore bum (I dont) and have to stop, or if a problem I carry a 1.6 litre fuel can strapped into the seat bag.

plus 06 has metal heel guards - 07+ has crappy plastic ones.

plus coz i have an 06, its obviously just better so Nerr
