some tw@ tried to steal my bike

Yesterday evening I noticed that someone has tried to cut my chain open:



The chain is a standard ABUS granite so I'm a bit surprised (and extremely happy!!!) that they didn't succeed, -maybe someone disturbed them.

Anyway, just ordered an Almax Immobiliser Series IV Uber + Squire SS65CS Lock. Was considering getting it a while ago, so stupid to think about it and not do it....

The visual effect or lack of it is at times enough to detour a thieves eye, out of sight out of mind, what I am specifically referring to is a bike cover sos they do not know what is beneath it, the lure of the SD is strong, think of layers of security, most thieves are lazy and they will always move on to an easier target, some companies make a cable that runs the circumference of the cover that you can place a high security lock on, I have 27 layers of security, my guns being some of the last, not counting my flesh destroying bullets.

I wonder if the scumbag gave up or was disturbed ?? - anyway your lock did a good job.

My two KTM's (RC8 and the SDR, both not insured) are over the winter looked in a proff. rented storage room with video survelience.

My bikes are protected by 2 gates with access code, one door (to my room) with a big lock and with heavy locks on both bikes on both front and back wheel. They are locked together.

I will say that if my bikes are stolen, the thieves deserve the bikes
