I'm 6'4", 225#, with an inseam a little over 35", and at 44 years I'm rapidly approaching auld phart status. Unfortunately, I have SuperDuke fever.
A lot of folks, even big folks. comment that the SD is "surprisingly comfortable". Legroom is my main concern with comfort. I've been riding big dual-sports for the last 5 years, so I'm kinda spoiled on legroom. I'm not going to tour, but long day-rides on Sundays are the norm. Anything under 250 miles is a short day.
Our friend "orangey" has graciously offered to let me take his bike for a spin, but I'm not going to hog it for a whole day. Even a short spin will give me some idea. None of the dealers in my region have a demo available.
If the SD riding position is too extreme, I'm just going to put together a 'tard setup for my 950SE. Legroom-a-rama, but the sit-up-and-beg riding position can get tiring at speed.
So, you long-legged guys who find the SD comfy, what are you used to? Are you coming off Gixxers, Ducati sportbikes, MV torture racks? Will the SD make me feel bent up like a paper clip?
