Test Ride-Fueling Question

I test rode a 2007 Superduke,

I found the fueling around town to be very snatchy, is that normal, or was it my test bike,

As my SD was broken in, or as I was broken in, and I made the 2-3 wire modiification, it smoothed out. It still has a very immediate throttle action.
