Went up to London today to see the Bike Shed Event at Tobacco Docks. Great show again this year. Good for Dutch for organising these things, they really are something.

Loads of bikes and customs and shed builds, bobbers and trackers - all not really for this forum.

But there was this mad desert racer KTM with front wheel drive and loads of unique mods. Not sure who made the drive, KTM or whether it was one of those Ohlins ones.

And for me best of show was this DeBolex Duke which had the build quality and style of some sort of cold war jet bomber crossed with a D Type Jag. Modern and retro at the same time without being like all the rest with not a hint of hipster steam punk brass and brown leather bollox.

How about hooning about on this? KTM 450 SMC engine in a Honda Cub chassis. !!!

And WTF is this back tyre profile? It was on a heavily modified Yamaha VMax. I guess it's made for drag racing because it sure wouldn't handle corners very well.
That last pic of a yard built vmax I've been drooling over recently. It's built specifically for drag racing.

Cheers, the front wheel drive system is out there. Can't imagine the maintenance overheads involved....
Interesting bikes. Would love to take a spin on the Honda Cub 450 . Looks like fun.
