I got it for $3000 off the recommended retail price! I just couldn't pass it up.
I had the wife with me just looking around in the bike shop as the shop is changing hands they had some
really good specials and my wife made an offer on the bike and they said yes!
My wife doesn't ride but she said that I'm always going on about getting another 2stroke so here is your chance and happy birthday

#10 I should have said that my wife bought a new bike as I was just standing there wondering what the hell she was up to. I love the old strokers mate and as they are being fazed out I just thought I should listen to the wife and get the bike.
The painful bit is the run in period cant go over 6000 for 1000ks and at 6k Im doing 80kmh 50mph DOH!!
But I can tell it will be great fun once run in. Will be putting power pipe and re jet also then the fun will begin.

#11Sounds like you have a great wife, or she is just buying you off...smart in either version!!
Looks like a fun machine, but you must be a little fella to be thinking about blasting around on a 125...my last one was a brand spanking new 1974 Honda Elsinore 125 and even back then I probably should have gotten the 250.
The environment folks have all but killed 2 strokes up here and they are even after the lawn/garden equipment...I just throw a little castor in the 'R' from time to time, just to stir someones pot!!

#12Yes im 5' 7" tall and weigh 160 lb so it should go ok once run in and piped
