My Kids.

Mini Cooper S (Spike)
'95 BMW M3. Built to win.
Porsche Cayenne Turbo. Lil' 450hp Twin Turbo V8, 0-60 in 5.2. Not bad for a 5000+ lb Vehicle. It eats tyres.
Some ugly bike. I think It's Austrian or something.

Sid, great choices those, especially the bike !
I know I shouldn't - I mean, I hate the X5, M-Class, Volvo xc - but I love the Cayenne...

And here's the 2009 VW GTI 4-dr in gray with the DSG tiptronic tranny that we picked up today for for my wife to replace the S-10. I have to take it back in to the dealer on Monday to get the 18" Hufeisen wheels put on that were part of the deal. I'll get some better pics up after those get put on. Overall, I'm initially impressed by this hatchback. Fun to drive with a nice solid feel to the construction and interior. The car is laden with neat little features that I have trouble believing could come on a hatch at this price point.

Here are some crappy driveway at night photos for now.

Is that a "T" coupe tou have? Very nice and an all steel body would be a rarity these days I think.

You have one of my 2 favourite Corvettes. Love the colour. That really suits the car.

The other favourite is of course the split window.

That Scirocco is a sweet looking car. AWD?
collyer

collyer

Not on this version. FWD 2.0L petrol Turbo 200BHP. Handles really nicely though. Not a real sports car but quick enough, comfy and reasonably practical... And, at the moment, very exclusive!!!
bonehead

bonehead

bonehead and lobst, you doods have nice stuff, the collyer told me white is right and this angle of the RC in white does look right,

but black is tugging on me and it is very hard to resist.... thanks for the pics all, it helps the winter pass..

love the looks of the R(eally)C(alling)8, (me), it is real good!

they need to make all of the black"matte"!! that would be the stuff!

from joe for lobster... I notice everything Rick. .... sort of....

The RS4 is one bad auto. I really like the shadow-grey wheel paint.
You see college girls driving those (& SMG M3/5s) here in Dallas, and it's a waste of a great driving car.
If that Scirocco was available here in the US, I would seriously consider my first VW. My 330i HP isn't so awful, in any case.
This was a fun & fast car, (gone) in a long line of BMWs since 1979.

Bought one of these about a month ago it was driven in for repairs and had a bad electrical problem picked it up for $500 freaking dollars and I love the thing.

I get this rush from getting something that is great to me for little or no effort, problem is fixed and I am a happy camper, Drives like a dream

(the little wifey thinks joe is going to sell it for profit but so far the acura is nearly seemless,

so if is sounless and all of the crap works right I will keep it... heheh if I drive it for the winter and keep the miles off of

my 04 chevy truck (22,000mi's), that alone will be worth the effort of keeping it and the acura runs damn good too,

mine sets low to the ground but is pure stock, not sure why... maybe just me coming out of the truck is the stupp?:?

but this is what i am drawn towards.. http://www.acura.com/tlp/semtlp.aspx?model=tsx

I don't do payments, so many things I won't buy. bling and green don't live on the same street in my neighborhood.

Image
wrebitup

wrebitup

Yeah Joe, i am with you in regard to the bargain thing, I picked up this truck about three years ago when the company I was working for put it up for offers, I bid $500 and the only other bid they got was $250, its a 96 Mazda 1 tonner, not glamorous but a good workhorse for moving bikes and industrial stuff, I have racked up 485000 kilometers in it and the only problem i have had was when the missus reversed her PT cruiser into the radiator

Image
wrebitup

this is what I drove for 4 years until kids refused to ride in it any longer needed a truck so I cut the back off one weekend now its the drive line under the 55 chevy im building from scratchImage

I hate to say it but there are some guys driving the 5 ton trucks with dodge pu boxes on personally think it is a bit over kill ,we do use our 4x4s lots in winter same as I imagine Colorado would ,and for us we have to haul stuff fire wood chainsaws ,dirt bikes ,or camping in remote areas without the lifted trucks some places aren't accessible in winter some years any car even all wheel drive is next to useless ,even my nice black 03 ss truck is too low and as soon as I get my old hot rod truck running , the ss will be sold our back roads are mud, gravel,or snow also the old truck is 3/4 ton and gets better millage pulling trailer
