CNC sheet-metal
I work at a branding design company called Echo. I'm one of three founding partners. I introduce myself as the creative director. I'm now at the end of an 18 hour day sitting on the train home, this is normal. I earn a good living but work very hard. It might seem glamourously running a product design company but with 30 employees and a £200,000 overhead each month to find, the stress never eases up. sometimes I just wish I got paid a shit load to work for someone else who took on all the worry but I would probably get bored. Plus I couln t do what someone else told me to do unless I agreed with them.
I'm an AA Patrol. Qualified to Master Tech with Alfa Romeo then latterly VW. Got bored of the workshop and took the AA gig.

Just finished my 9th 11hour shift in a row. Get 1 day off tomorrow, then back on for another 8 x 11hr days. Winter rosta is an absolute killer. Good job though, can be really interesting. Can also be mega frustrating, definately need thick skin out there. The general public are mental.
A few years ago we took a young friend of one of the guys I work with on a jump seat ride out to a platfom...... he asked - "do you mind if i take some pictures during the flight?"............ 8 months later a mate ask me if i've seen myself on youtube!! He'd apparently filmed most of the flight ........
