The Government.
HM Revenue and Customs
VOSA (UK Nazi Party)
Several finance companies
Shell UK
Keyfuels Network
Nat West Bank
Various truck dealers
Various truck fitters
Watling Tyres (but they do give me fleet discount on bike tyres )
Dartford (highway robbery) crossing
Numerous ungrateful employees
All of the above can have your pants down quicker than Big Toby

#78Anyway my motto has always been this quote attributed to Adolf Hitler but actually from Bernard Manning or Tommy Cooper (not sure which).
'It is easy to smile when you're winning'
'when the world rolls along like a song'
' but a mans not worthwhile, unless he can smile'
'when everythings gone fookin wrong'

#85oh the topic, well folks for 25+ years joe had a japanese auto repair shop, humm.. guess they call me an auto technician but I sold my shop so I do not wrench no more. My friends call me an entrepreneur or real estate investor, not that I need to make myself sound important cos I am not, joe is sort of like god in the respect he doe's not change, I am the same dude I was all the way back when I was 13 yo, just a free spirit, definitely a loaner and a very vivid imagination.
I am inspired by others and hope someday I can inspire someone else as long as it is in a good way. So.. I am not important, I can become small so small you can not even notice me. Like when you have a mental malfunction- you go to the psychiatrist to get small to get your head shrunk, thus they are called "shrinks". Yes for those that would like to know joe has been to one back in the early years (13 yo) they tried to shrink my head and what I discovered was I seem to know as much as they did? Which made me think... you have to go to college for many years and your title makes you sound important but are you? I realised at about 30 yo that what makes a person important is not your title or how many dollars you make and accumulate but how many ppl is in between you and the rest of the public. I am sure Pete can relate..

#96What sort of designer are you?
I run a branding consultancy called Echo
www.echobranddesign.co.uk
We have a complete mix of graphic and product designers who all work together to create brand experiences. Been doing this kind of thing since the early eighties. Echo is the third company I have started. I really like the start up bit but usually after 5 to 8 years I get a bit bored as they start to get bigger and more successful and I leave. Then the other remaining partners make all the money! This time I 'm in it for the long haul, put too much effort into this one, and I'm nearly 50 so I'm planning for a management buyout in 10 years time so now the thing is to find the star players who will eventually inherit the company and pay me to go off and spend my late years playing with motorbikes in the workshop every day.
I FOOKING LOVE MY JOB!

#107In my 20's I did cameras and graphic design for adult websites (true) and later graphic design for a phone sex company (also true). Yes, lotsa nekkid pictures. It sounds great, but after a few years it's just a job. I remember working with a picture one time and giving the model a, ehem, 'haircut' when my boss brought to the office the building manager that did not know what we did in that office. I got scolded for looking at porn. Again.

#125I'm now the Senior Field Systems Engineer for the same Radar manufacturer.
I don't work on commercial projects any longer, it's all Military / Navy or shore based survellance.
I've recently returned from Columbia - they are very interested in spotting small / semi submerged targets around their coastline.
