#6Those are very similar numbers to what the 990 sd's official hp and torque figures... and its a retro. It is probably a great bike to ride. .. very pretty

#7I think it's a good looking bike, with BMW heritage. Like riding an "modern" Harley or anyone who buys a new Indian ect. It's got BMW's most prized motors that was just replaced, the Boxer. They are making this model for probably 1 year only to send the oil cooled boxer off. It has some pleasant, classic styling lines as well. Looks like a great bike to take on a fall ride.
Curious if people don't like it because it is not based off the Superbike RR platform, and instead BMW's iconic R platform(boxer).
Also, if I was a BMW nut and had a R1200GSA, I would totally buy one of these as a town, cruise ride.

#11I really like this bike, but then I own a 1974 R90/6... On the other hand, BMW already has a pretty cool and classic looking boxer, the R1200R. Strange that they basically just removed the telelever fork, spruced up some styling bits and called it "retro."
