yes I cry for you folks, I signed up just to get speed channel, cost me an extra $100 per month just to get it.

Now that I have a new LCD kickin TV @ $2000, I find out the I need a sound system...

ok, go spend another $1500, now i come to learn that i need to stay up until 2 am to see any races,

and when WSB was on the wind storm came and blew the power out cos I do not have a

$10.000 generator in the f*ckin middle of a big city cos I do not have electrical power!

I can not even watch a race!!! so I can not watch to get in a comment edgewise!

I am fuming pissed but can not do a damn thing about it but keep throwing money at some thing to watch the race i can not see!

good thing is.... joe is a crappy spectator anyway so nothing gained is nothing lost.

I watch them all.. and yes Speeds coverage totally sucks.. However, they're also the only channel I can see the races on so I take what I can get.

Speed Channel survives only because of NASCAR, which I'd watch after my eyes had been removed & brain flattened. But, I'll watch MotoGP every chance I get, because reading about MotoGP is like singing about lunch.
AMA racing is great in person, but TV coverage is lame. The Dakar Rally coverage used to be on Vs. (OLN), complete with the British broadcast & Toby Moody, but we'll see if they carry the South American reinvention of it next January. Compared to nothing, speed channel coverage of MotoGP is fine - I hope Fox or NBC doesn't muck up the Lguna or Indy MotoGP race broadcasts (again).

someone at SPEED TV must've been reading this thread. I'm watching race 2 from Road America and Ralf Shaheen is nowhere to be found. Apparently he's replaced by Greg Creamer (I had to laugh at that one).

I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised by SPEED's new commentator. He looks like Ron Jeremy but seems to know a thing or two about bikes, obviously enjoys the racing, and has much more of presence than Ralf. Hopefully SPEED TV will stick with this new guy throughout the rest of the season.

Now we just need to have them take a few lessons from the MotoGP camera crew and replace Freddie with Randy Mamola and we'd be all set!
