Done a good couple trackdays on mine, and while not the fastest I'm not too slow - And mine hasn't even used oil!!! So I don't know why I'm the lucky one but I'm not complaining!
The bike runs beautifully, still looks brand new (okay, with only 5000km, it better!), but it's doing just as well as my old blade. No problems.

Just a crapload more smiles and laughs (and envious looks ).

Ride it, thrash it wring its neck and it'l beg for more!!

Mine uses about 500ml of oil every 4500 miles, so not a lot IMHO.

I've done over 18000 miles on it in 14 months and its still in great condition. I replaced a clutch cover, break fluid cover and brake lever thru corrosion, total cost, £40. The brake lever was under warranty, and the clutch and brake reservoir cover were cheap....as are many parts it seems

A few things I would consider:

Pros:

Build quality is fantastic
Reliability is stella

Cons.

KTM has not mastered Fuel Injection yet.

Love the SD but today no I probably wouldn't buy another KTM. I will in the future though as models grow and improve.
