Yank Beer drinkers

Why is it that every time I see a Yank movie or TV show and they are drinking beer it is Always BUD LIGHT ?
The BUD brand I can understand but LIGHT BEER ????

Are you guys what we refer to in Australia as "Two can screamers"

Budweiser pays to have their product on screen. Doesn't mean we all drink it

coming from canada i wondered the same thing
"light beer" meant that you were proabably the one driving that night

then after a few weekends of drinking in the us, i found out the secret....same alcohol content for bud and bud light.....(or close to the same)

so now, if it is a marathon drinking party...coors light comes out with some "good beers" in between.....
