zero motorcycles

Zero exhaust emissions but big green house emissions when u charge the batteries from your power point and not to mention the electricity bill to match it. So no better for the environment it would seem afterwards, where to the batteries go when they are stuffed? Can they be recycled ?

The batteries go to the same place all your missing left socks go. Zero is just not enough bike for what it sells for...

pretty much all electric vehicles cost too much for mass appeal. Hybrids are still expensive for what they are even tho they've gotten, in CA, more perks to ownership (free toll, carpool ability, gov'mt cash back). They mostly cater to drivers w/ enough leftover cash and environmental guilt to get a second (or third of fourth vehicle) that's greener than the rest.

I don't really see the cost of the battery/power plant going down over the years...unless new non-lithium alternatives are practical. As for the environmental impact of charging a e-vehicle, I still think it's got a smaller CO2 footprint than filling a tank of petrol.

In my eyes, you would be helping the environment more by spending the extra money it costs to get an electric or hybrid vehicle on a solar power set-up for your home.
