2013 SuperDuke 1290

So, I am happy to announce that I have placed my name (and sizable deposit) on the official list at my local dealership for the first KTM SDR 1290 to arrive.

I remember the anticipation when I did the exact same thing back in 2005 for the SuperDuke 990. But it was delayed so much that I pulled my name off that list and I bought a ZX7R.

But I did end up buying my new SuperDuke 990 two years ago. It was just sitting in the shop waiting for the 2009 SD to arrive. Then the 2010 and 2011... they finally sold it to me. I bought it for a PRETTY GOOD PRICE!

But now I am #1 on the list and I will be putting my awesome 990 for sale in the near future.

I here that delivery is suppose to be in December. But that is to be seen. I am patient and can afford to wait.

I rode a RC8R at a track day. I fell in love with that motor. I sold my 950 Supermoto but chickened out on buying a 1190 or 1290, so I went with a 990R. I can't wait to hear about your new ride.
