My names Tony and I have been monitoring the site for a couple of weeks now and contemplating buying a SD. I have finally made my mind up and switched allegiance from Aprilia to KTM! I met some of you at last years crashfest and was overwhelmed by your hospitality. I will definitely be there this year and now I have the SDR you may even let me park near your group!

Back to the bike, 2008 SDR, full power model, Motohooligan air box, PCIII, termignoni end cans, HID headlights, R&G crash protection fitted and CRG levers. The bike is in need of some TLC and a good clean but I think I got a bargain.

Thanks to Superdan for taking the time and effort to travel all the way to Surrey with me ang giving the bike a once over.
Going to have to think of a new username now and ask the Colonel politely to change it over for me. Any suggestions Dan thought of stalker basher but I don't want to wind him up straight from the off!

I swapped Tony for me, I think that's a fair deal. He is a honorary crashfest member he has crashed many different bikes at Cadwell, he can even crash them whilst he is not on them.

To do:
1.) remove reflectors
2.) clean
3.) new cans
4.) slipper
5.) Quick action throttle
6.) Ride

I do, we spent an hour or two chatting. As I remember you kept looking at Colonel Klinck and sighing with lust in your eyes, though that could have been induced by the 'spices' on the 'beer can chicken'..

Love the name! Glad someone else bought up the weight issue as I saw him for our ACU test 3 weeks ago and didn't have the heart to say anything... but now its out in the open...

hi all,
my name is Dan. i just moved from quebec to alberta. im living in calgary now and just got my bike liscense. since the first moment i laid my eyes on the sd i havent like another bike.

im currently looking for an 07 or 08 in my area but they are quite scarce. i was wondering if anyone could give me a quick run down of the differences between the 07 and 08 sd's. are they identical? or is there something about one that is reason enough to buy the other?

Do you like black swing arms or silver? That's about the extent of it. Unless you are looking at the 08SDR...that's another animal altogether.
