Hi guys,

Just bought a new 1290 SD in black. This is my first KTM, after owning a Ducati, a BMW and more recently, a Harley. I have done around 800km in 2 weeks so I am close to the 1000km service. I had the Akra muffler, alu clutch and brake fluid caps, tail tidy and tank pads fitted on delivery, and will be installing rim stickers, Rizoma mirrors, heated grips and a 16T sprocket at the upcoming service.

Did you get the genuine rim tapes from Bicknell's Race and Rim Tape Emporium or did you get the knock-offs from China?
