Another Californian

Hello all,

Just another California guy that bought a Super Duke yesterday. I live in Santa Cruz and work in San Jose. Gotta say I love the bike and it's going to get me into all kinds of trouble with the local law enforcement

Congrats on the new bike. I live in San Jose and commute to either Santa Clara or Menlo Park. The commute is, by far, the most fun part of my work day!

Well, at least with the stock pipes, you have a bit more stealthiness....

The new law doesn't take effect until 2013, and from what I understand only applies to bikes of the same year and up.....just sayin.

Welcome in!

I live in San Jose, too. I have been thinking about getting some new cans. Just haven't pulled the trigger yet

Creepy man...creepy. !?

So who's hitting what roads for their awesome commute? For me it's 152 to Watsonville rd. Very pleasant scenery if I do say myself.

Keo, love that avatar, man! I'm a slug alum after all. Jealous of the roads down that way. All I get is 101 N/S w/ all speed traps in between. Nice to cruise over the GG bridge on a clear, bright morning tho.

Quite a NorCal contingent we got going here.

Welcome Keo. Look forward to meeting everyone this Spring/Summer.

Thanks for the welcomes all. My commute is over 17 these days and the cops were thick this morning. I'm really lucky I didn't get a ticket. When I'm not working 9-10 hour days and the daylight lasts a little longer I'll take old SC highway, 36, 9, Bear creek, etc.

PBNr - Nice to see another slug. Graduated from there then worked there for a couple of years. At this point I'm happy to be away from the university. I only picked that avatar since a few of you might recognize it from another forum. . .
