Shade, I will post a review type thing for comparison when I have had the test ride - yes, please do the same and we can compare notes. I really do like the Buell, the "Race Kit" part of my first post was a bit of a joke after reading through what some on here say about it ! - does sound lovely though eh ! The height of the SD is worrying me a bit. I sit on the bike and can only get one tip-toe down. There must be something that can be done to lower the ride height without screwing up the handling ?
What is the power delivery like on the 06 (standard) bike ? Only been riding a year and to be honest I'm not that quick a rider (yet). The SD has about 50% more HP than my Buell which does not worry me if the delivery is smooth and predictable but would probably terrify me if it all comes at once ! Do any dealers get on here ? If so can somebody let me know who they are please - I am looking for a good deal on a new 06, not too fussy about the colour.

#13Cheers Baggieman, The distance to the dealer dont really matter as most will deliver for free (I hope). You are right about my local dealer it is M&S. They have 5 or 6 of last years models sitting in the showroom. Two weeks ago they told me £6900, last week they had gone up to £7300 !! I think I can get an 07 for near that ! Anyway I shall make a few calls to the ones that you and others have mentioned. Still looking for some way to reduce the height - spare me the usual jokes about platform boots etc ! Its hard enough already being a short arse ! I suppose the power delivery just takes some getting used to. I will probably be the slowest SD rider around for the first 1000 miles ! Cheers.
