Duke Newbie - South Florida

Hi all. Just bought a 2008 Superduke (not R) and in love with it, though there are some things I hope to learn about here. Throttle seems a little too free, not enough resistance especially on bumpier roads. Questions about Oil Pressure, Gearing mods, running temp, etc. Looking forward to it.

I've already replaced stock exhaust with Leo Vince's (slip ons) - Huge improvement in sound and dropped significant weight. Can't really tell if any power gain since I did it almost immediately. I'm still very green.

Any South Florida Dukies around?

Nice! Not much good riding for us down here. I'm in Weston and work in Ft. Lauderdale (there right now on the Duke). We usually ride up to Roland Martins or to a fish camp on the east side of the lake on Sundays. If you are a Duke aficionado, maybe I can bounce some stuff off of you. I don't know all of what the first owner did to the bike, but I see some obvious mods with the naked eye.
