After wanting one for so many years, at last I have a Superduke.
£3000, 2007, 30k miles. Bit tatty in places but that's all gonna change anyway - I am a serial fiddler and usually don't stop until there are no more things to do. Picked it up last Sunday and had a nice long ride back to Sheffield from Cardiff, awesome engine, ridiculously comfy, sooo light and quick steering, love it! Shame it's not stopped raining all week, hasn't stopped me though
My main bike's an MT-01, high comp, full titanium, brembos, v stacks, airbrushed..... Theres no more mods left to do it (except a turbo and bst wheels ) now I have a two of my dream bikes!
I'll be spending quite a but of time on here, 100+ technical/mod posts to catch up on!

Once you go v-twin you never go back.
When does it stop raining in the UK winter now,, ever April , May, could be by June,, and a case of WD40,,,
Congrats on the purchase.

remembering when i first got my SD home i was out riding it in December in San Francisco ( Cold ) at 3 am ....... i can relate !!!

have fun
Welcome to the nuthouse. I'm pretty sure you aren't going to be disappointed.
like you but the opposite.. have just picked up an Mt01 after running out if stuff to do to the SD. as for all mods... shortly it won't be all the mods. already started designs for the intakes and airbox for the Mt but will only go into production after the SD ones do which may even be this year.

after all the lessons learned so far... the Mt01 mods will be easy. I have gone through four production methods and designs to get to the final product.

but back to you... welcome mate
welcome

......I Bet I know which one is going to end up at the back of the garage
My first ride on my SD was pretty bad, ride up from London in Summer gear in March......never again.

Welcome Thats a good price plenty of SD's with 50k + miles.

I have to admit my pride and joy looks nicer than the duke, but back to back rides make the mt feel a bit sluggish - looks like I do need those bst's now! Ha
And get this...I explained the purchase of the SD to the mrs as ' I need a more practical bike' ! She has no idea
Ahahahahahaha
Hi
Not far away in Rotherham hope to see you one day...
