From a ZX10 to a SDR

Hi everyone. Owned my SDR for a couple of weeks now and thought its time to say hello and show you my bike. As it says in the title I owned a 2011 ZX10r before the SDR but I've gotta say the SDR is fantastic to ride, the power is more useable on the roads and OMG the noise it makes is awesome. (although the weather has meant I've only ridden it twice). I upgraded the screen and the seat, and still have the original exhaust with carbon heat shields (see my post in items for sale )

Welcome!
Nice ride
hi
Welcome. Your bike looks awesome! I've always thought the round Akras looked great on the SDR. So far no regrets switching from the mighty ZX10?

Welcome...did you buy new?

...just noticed date on tax disc....I asked because ..no chickren strips (or very small) .....and if you only just got it ....
Thanks for the welcome.

I don't miss the zx10 at all. In any power mode it was just way too much for public roads and I'd find myself riding everywhere at 4k revs or less which isn't much fun let alone the insurance cost.

The duke on the other hand has a much better riding position and a noise to die for, the insurance is a third of the zx10 cost and the black and orange combination looks awesome. I'm really pleased with my decision to change.

I bought the bike second hand and have only ridden it twice so no the chicken strips are not down to me.
