New member but have been stalking this forum for a while. Had the The Beast since Feb but only took it out for it's first blast since it's 1000km service yesterday. I have found 3 problems with the SD 1290 ownership experience: the bugs hit my helmet ALOT harder than they ever did on my previous bike (Ninja 1000); after the unrestricted ride yesterday, my shoulder sockets are stretched & in need of a physio, and I'm disappointed that the Powerparts catalogue doesn't include brown trousers

I guessed right. I saw the Adelaide and I knew it was going to be another 1290 Bragger. A true indication of just how well the Australian economy is doing is witnessed here on this very sight. Not only do the folks down under have all the new toys, they seem to have all the money needed to make the 1290 run right. I think that shipping companies are mislabeling parts and bikes ,that are to stay in Austria, and shipping every bike and power part on to Australia.
Try UPS not KTM for your brown trousers.
