I have always loved the Super Duke since 05 and I was getting one in 07 but I had a run in with the law and had to take a break from driving and riding for a while and since then I have gone thru a few bikes, VTR1000 (Lost Licence) Sportster Thruxton zx14 a couple of Ducati's Diavel , Hypermotard BMW GSA but I couldn't resist the 1290 .
I wasn't even looking at getting a new bike but I took the 1290 for a test ride and that was it... SOLD
I have always loved and had V-Twins, I just sold my Hypermotard to a guy in Melbourne
I have a dodgy back and the chassi is great for me, with great suspension and ride position. I was worried about the suspension travel but it feels great on the shite roads which was a big seller for me.
