A friend mentioned this forum, so i looked it up and.... here i am.
Looks like a wealth of good info here, seems like ppl are keen to help others which is fantastic!
About little about me,
I worked as a mechanic for 20yrs, heavy duty, automotive, and a little motorcycle stuff. Recently completed a 2yr traineeship and become a Locomotive Driver Lvl 8. Driving freight trains of Wheat and Iron Ore.
I've owned two KTM's before, a 2004 250EXC 2T, 2007 250SX, then owned 3 Suzuki's since then.
I've raced Motocross the last 5yrs, winning 4 championships at our local club level.
Getting tired of nursing the injuries now, at 39yrs old, so went out and scored a beautifully kept 2008 990 SD which had only 1800km's on it. [quitting MX for now] It's completely stock, and I've already read with much interest a lot of comments on the mod's that can be done to enhance this orsum bike.
I'll be in touch on the forum...
