Gidday all...joined up to see what I could learn about the phenomenon known as Superduke!
Have owned a fair few bikes of most descriptions including some high powered sportsbikes however since trying out a '05 S'duke I realised how wrong I'd been all these years....and promptly bought the '05.
Fate would have it that I had to find the only piece of diesel on the road one day and was sent flying and the bike got roughed up.
I've bought the Superduke R a couple of weeks ago and are highly impressed on the improvements made between the '05 and new R model.

Below would be the '07 ZX10R SE(176rwhp) that I flicked off to buy the R.
No regrets at all!

Will do,funny how you mention that, a mate of mine binned his about a month before you & I bumped into him on Saturday & he had his whole exhaust system replaced under insurance, so hopefully he's going to do a deal with me (fingers crossed) RH header $1100 on it's lonesome. My cans where $2500 over 2yrs ago, apparently now 3k.Hate to know how much they wanted for your new ones -about 3.5k I suspect !
PS, watch out for Bodge, he's a dodgy fecker fm. Auckland riding an R aswell (P/T)

Yep the ones on yours are just over $3000 now mate!
Had mine replaced under insurance (kept the damaged ones) and got them to get me in the new jobs....meeeeeeeeeean sounding and they look divine!
They also suit the angular body work that is SD-R.

This gent in Jafaland...would he ride with Finn from "the other place"?
I know there's only 5 road going SD-R's in NZ atm so there's a strong likelihood that he's the guy I've seen riding with Aaron.

Not too sure but he used to have a 748 & I met him recently when the DOC rode down this way a few weeks back, he has cans on it like you had on your 05 which IMHO look pretty good too

Yeah they do look the shit, I had my Y pipe replaced under warranty lrecently, bit hard to tell from your R photo but does it have a plate top & bottom of the Y as bracing as mine developed a split from top to bottom on the weld? All sorted now & going stronger than ever (had a wee issue with coolant loss), gave her a good shakedown on Saturday !

Yep it does have a "plate" welded on the Y section...doesn't look too staunch though.
