Greeting from the Netherlands

Hello!

My name is Geert and I'm living in the Netherlands; near Den Bosch.
I have my '07 SuperDuke now for almost 6 months, but due to the winter, I did not use it a lot. Besides my SuperDuke I also have a '95 Yamaha Super Teneré, a '78 Suzuki GS750. And sometimes I use the Yamaha Fazer from my girlfriend.

My previous bike was a '04 Yamaha YZF-R1, but the SuperDuke is so much more fun! The R1 is not made for the Dutch roads, you have 5 gears too much and also the sitting position became annoying. And how beautifull it was, I decided to traded it in for a SpeedTriple. At least that was the plan.... Just in time I received an e-mail if I was interested in a trade with a SuperDuke. I was not very enthusiastic because my experiences with a two cilinder bike were not that great. I made a test ride on a Buell XB12S and a Honda VTR-SP1, but I was not impressed. But the looks of the SuperDuke persuaded my to take a look. After the test ride the grin on my face would not dissapear anymore, so the choice was not that difficult anymore.

Some other hobbies of mine are my dog, my American classic car and metal music. Do I need to tell anything else?

Below some pictures of my SuperDuke:
