After buying my 06 SD in November last year, readng the forum on almost a daily basis and going thorugh withdrawals while the site was down, i thought it best to join the madhouse and introduce another SD fan.

Hello!

Loving the new beast. I just can't get over the noise she makes on full throttle! Also never shy of looks and comments from passers by.

Since buying her i've changed the oil, filters, plugs, and done the valve clearances. With 9k miles on the clock she is going like a boeing.

Already been down to Northern France for a weekend trip. What a blast. Now bring on the summer!

Welcome on board! We used to have a good group of London are SD'ers and get out for regular spirited rides but a few people sold or stopped coming out and they kinda died off. Where in London are you dude?

omky, i plan to ride. a lot. want to do 2 weeks in spain later this year. been contemplating the MH airbox since the SAS has already been removed. but not sure if the benefits will outway the hole it'll burn in my pocket. also keen on the tank upgrade - my mates can't stop bitching about stopping every 30 minutes

klink, i'm in wandsworth. will be hitting the ace on friday's now that the sun has come out. and usually tearing up surrey hills on the weekends. always keen for a ride.

Thanks chaps. Can't believe I'm still getting welcomes almost two weeks later.

Might be heading to Margate at some point this weekend, Steve. Depending on the weather, of course. Suggest any roads out that way?
