I've just been and got myself a 990 SDr - 10 plate


Well it's FUN, the rumours were true and I love it.

Erm, well, about me. I've been riding for 20+ years, various bikes - off road, 2 strokers, IL4 and now, the twin.
I have been riding my R1 for 12 years now and due to arm operations and scarring was finding the race bike riding position too painful - so went full bore and swapped to the fun side of the motorcycle life. Still ride one on track though.
I do all my own spanner work so will more than likely be found in the mechanical section on here as i have never worked on a KTM before. Last yer I went on a course at a place called Reactive and did a 4 day course on suspension, ktec approved, so know my way around the springy things under the seats and hands.
I pretty much love all things bike and even run my own forum. Looking around on here it seems that the world wide appreciation for Austrian toys is alive and well.

Right, well I'm off now to have a look around.

Hi Simon, welcome aboard. I'd no idea that you were coming over to the orange way of thinking, but I haven't logged onto the SWB forum for a few days. I presume you'll be on the new bike at Cadwell will you? (check the "on track" slate, I've nominated it as this year's crashfest)
