Hello and request for information from the other DIYers

Juse purchased a gently used 2007 SuperDuke and want to add a voltage gauage. Purchased a small LED unit from Kuryakin but having trouble finding a suitable positive connection. Neither headlamp wire was suitable, this is a USA model with a single headlight.
