Brand new SD owner here, I just picked up an 07 anthracite 990 and I'm really enjoying it. I already have an 04 BMW R1150RT, an 04 KTM 450 EXC, and a '16 1190 Adventure so having a sporty little number rounds things out really well. I live in the Boulder Colorado area so access to twisties is close and easy for a quick afternoon of playing hooky and on a recent run over the Peak to Peak highway I realised very quickly that at my age and skill level I will likely never out-ride this bike. What a kick. Anyway, I've also discovered that the previous owner wasn't as neat and tidy as I would have liked, and I've torn the bike down to brass tacks to give everything a thorough cleaning and inspection and have found a host of minor nits that need to be addressed - missing hardware, worn out heat shields, poor quality farkling, etc. During that effort, I decided to install a Rotty intake, SAS removal, PowerCommander V, and Yoshi pipes.
