Hi all, just wanted to introduce myself. Bought an 07 990 Superduke not long ago, it's my first KTM and so far I'm in love with it. I've already ordered a slip-on exhaust, SAS block off, and some frame sliders. Besides crappy gas mileage, this is the best bike I've ever ridden.

We are all extremely fortunate to be alive during this very limited historic period where there is still petroleum fuel to burn and really superb machinery in which to combust it. I will gladly burn my share and hope many many people get hybrid or electric vehicles so there is more hydrocarbon rich fuel for the rest of us. If it were possible when I die I would have my body cremated in a vat of premium gasoline. Doesn't that seem appropriate?

How crappy is crappy? I'm jaded because my Toohomo V4 gets about 29 mpg. FWIW, the SD used to get 35+ The Akra map is a pig. A Power Commander or Bazzaz system will get you more power and better mpg and smoother power delivery.
