Hello from Catalonia, new SD1290 owner

Hello everybody from Catalonia (Barcelona) I've bought my SD1290 R 2014 new , 2 weeks ago and at this is just 150Kms and started with oil sweat in both sides stator and clutch, and oil filter, just a little bit but it looks like this is going to be more in a short, so today I'm going to see the dealer and I'll show him.
Mine is always returning to street mode every time I turn it off and today I'm going to ask the dealer for the 2.22 software update which I think corrects this to remember it.
Anyway! Nice, preatty and exciting motorbike which I think is perfect for a 1,91m tall boy like me but maybe I'll buy the powerparts seat to increase my confort.
Lots of power for a guy like me who comes from a CBR 600!!

Welcome to the forum. You're correct you need the software updated. I'd mine updated yesterday and now it stays in previously selected mode. Hope you get the niggles sorted ASAP.

New software for my sd and now it's ok keeping last mode selected.
Oil leaks still at left side..

KTM will surely alter the clutch and alternator gaskets to combat the leaks in time,April did with their V4s

For the moment I m 300kms with new gasket at the stator side and it's ok, time will tell it.
Dealer told me that ktm said him to change just the gasket for the moment and they did it in the first service this week.

I will be keeping noticing you about it but I really love this bike for the moment which is really really powerfull, fun and hooligan bike, my god! Everytime I ride it there's a big smile in my face!

Power Parts seat is much better then original, will increase height also. Move bar to the front position to get some extra space.
