Hello one and all from the sunny (sometimes) south east.
Just discovered this excellent site and I cant thank you guys enough. Its BLOODY GREAT ! Anyone doing trackdays on their SD's ? Gonna keep it brief coz its dry outside so I'm off for a ride. Speak to you guys later and see you out there, thanks again.

hi everyone!
new member based in North Kent - owned an SD since '07 and still think it's the mutt's nuts!

starting to get in to 'servicing it myself' territory as it's done nearly 20k and well past any warranty period…

A few of us in the kent area plus north london/essex

We always try and get some ride outs sorted in either kent or essex way, just keep an eye on the rides and meetings thread

Cheers for all the 'hellos' - will keep an eye out for rides around this area. I'm off to the isle of man next week if anyone else is going?

Quick question: have any of you guys used Laguna in Maidstone? I used to use bracken on old Kent road until I moved out here to greenhithe, I've been to Laguna once and had a terrible experience, would be interested if it was just a one off...

Hi all

This is my first KTM, a black 1290r and it is fantastic, always had japanese sports bikes before, 2 x zx10r's, a zx9r and gixxer 600. But I have to say I am a convert,the superduke is just great, unbelievable torque.

I have had it 7 months and covered just over 4k miles, including 2k miles in a week touring france and germany in june.

I do have a slightly wobbly back wheel but its not detracting from my enjoyment and my dealer is waiting for instructions from KTM.
