New member and new SD owner
I started riding a couple of years ago and had promised myself a new bike this spring. I thought I wanted a Street Triple, but then tried the Speed and loved it ... until I tried the Superduke. Had a good couple of hours test ride from Bracken and I was sold immediately
They then offered me a really good (I think) deal on a "new" pre-reg 08 bike, so the decision was easy.
So 10 days ago, I took proud ownership of a nice 2008 SD in pretty standard trim apart from the Akrapovic slipons (awesome) and some crash bungs.
I'm only 400 miles into running it in, but love it.
Bit of a difference compared to my previous bike, a Yamaha XT660X
Oh, and I'm in London, UK.
