Hello from lube

'sup all? lube here - I have a 1290 SD ( as well as a 1190 Adventure and 950 Adventure in the KTM part of the stable, 12 total bikes in the garage- MX, DS, Adventure, Road Race) Love the easy riding position and sitting " inside" the SD - compared to the RSV4 Tuono makes you feel sitting on top. SD has 1,600 miles on it and the rear hub has just started to wobble, so viva KTM! (also have addressed the air-box issues that also plague the 1190 Adventure)

Mid fifties, riding since 11 years old, long time resident of the SF Bay Area CA riding scene. just love to ride at the level where the intensity pushes all the other crap outta my brain (and there is soooo much to push out!) so the SD is a perfect accomplice for generating intensity!

Been seeing a few new 1290r up by Alice's and Highway 1. Anyway I have just over 4k on mine so far. I'm out in Livermore area and ride Mines road and frequent the roads out by Alice's on any giving Sunday. Always looking for a new riding buddy. Have a few. But can never have enough. I like to ride the roads like I used to snow ski.

I'm down to 11 bikes myself.
