Hello from Nebraska

Hey guys, i'm new to this forum. I currently have an 08' Duke 690 which I love. Looking to get an 09' Superduke R when I move to the west coast. I want to get my studying of the bike out of the way before I purchase it. For example, the first cosmetic modification I would like to do is swap a Duke 690 head for the superduke head. They just look so much better. Don't know why KTM didn't stick with the Duke head in the first place.

I too agree that the mask on the Duke is better looking. If you find the Duke to be a pleasurable ride and can afford to have two KTM's in the garage, may I suggest that you try as you might to hang onto the little Duke.
I had both in my stead and sold the little one as a promise to the smarter half of this household (think relative) when Super slid into the garage. It is not the same bike and there are many times that the smaller toy would be a better tool-toy around here. Just saying that I have made myself a promise to return to the Duke, and so many other things keep popping up that do not lend the opportunity to replace it. Hindsight being twenty-20, I would have kept the Duke and gone without something else.
How far is West?
I rode through Nebraska at peak sunflower harvest time and the fields were awash in yellow glory.
