After years of drooling, I just scored a 2007 black Superduke. It's everything I hoped it would be and even more. I haven't felt this excited about a motorcycle in years.

I've been riding about 30 years. Dirt, Street, Race track.
Welcome in dude, play nicely now!

Welcome....You have the best color SD...Nice choice, ENJOY
Welcome dude. Same with me, I haven't felt this excited about a bike either, since I found out about the Superduke. A year ago I didn't even know it existed
Don't agree about the color though ...
I had an '01 Duke II, loved that bike. The Super Duke feels and handles like the Duke II, only with lots more power.

I have some VERY fond memories of riding a Duke II I borrowed for a bit.
Awesome fun, but with the extra HP the SD is everything and more

Welcome to the nuthouse.
Welcome fellow nutter
Welcome in....
You guys probably get this all the time but, anyone know where to find a good HD copy of the original banned super duke commercial? I have it on you tube, but the vid quality is terrible.

Best commercial ever.

I too was a graduate from the Duke II. I had them in the garage at the same time. It took me close to a year to sell the little one for the right price. When it finally happened it was a very happy day for the more sensible half of the household. They are two completly different rides and I will get another II when I either win the lottery or rob another liquer store.
I talked to a former Superduke owner today. A gentleman from Austin. He and I agree that it is a very sharpenned intrument for just a tool around bike. It asks much out of its rider. It seems to be a hard bike to tool around on.
What other bikes do you have in the stalls? I take my hat off to anyone who can ride this bike day in and day out in the style and expectations this bike was designed for. Or I could be a huge pussy and need to shut the fuckup.
We have such crap backroads in these parts that the Duke II was actually much more suited for this neck. Santa Barbara county has much wealth and it does not seem to trickle down to road improvements.
Up the road a piece is Duke4Dirk. He'll pop his head in real soon I am sure. Anyway welcome home.
All you need now is a tankbag
