Hello from sunny Dubai

Long way away from most of you here, just picked up a used 990 ('09, about 7k on the clock) and joined this community almost immediately afterwards. Used to ride another - but much heavier - naked Vtwin before this, the Yamaha MT01. Unfortunately a bad back couldn't handle the weight of it anymore and had to get rid of what was a rather unique motorcycle - loving the KTM, esp with the Akra exhausts it sounds almost similar to the elephant.

Did some minor changes after I picked it up - blocked off the SAS valves, removed the O2 sensors, plonked in a PC3 and put on new Pirellis. Waiting for CPR to send me the Rottweiller air box and RC8 stacks - that would be all by way of mods for now.

Do you go to the Moto GP round and if so, does watching a night race have any spectacularness?
Is motorcycling a small or large aspect of the community?
How did you get a SD there? Everything imported for exact needs or are there importers speculating on everything?
