#5Just realised I never made an intro post! A big hello from a Scottish guy living close to Zurich, Switzerland
Picked up a 2015 1290 R (Orange) after a brief test ride earlier in the year. For road riding around where I live, the Superduke just blew me away.
Have been hanging around the forum for a while, there is a lot of good advice and tips out there. Just ordered the abs rings from Kev to correct the speedo readings. Other than that, not sure I have ever had so much fun on a bike before!

Been reading along this Forum for a while now and thought it might be appropriate to introduce myself!
28year old living in Switzerland (ZG) spending as much as possible of his free time on the SDR. I have bought my SDR1290 in May 2015 and have ridden it for around 6500km this season. This bike is just the best thing out there, period!! I actually almost signed for a Diavel this spring, after having ridden a Speed Triple 1050 for a while. But the test ride (out of curiosity, because of all the positive reactions and press) blew my mind so i had to buy it instantly .
So now I am still breaking the law a lot (plan was to settle down a bit with the diavel) and the SDR-Virus has infected me. My bike is black (#TeamBlack Hello Folks! ) and i have modified so far:
-KTM Power Parts Seat and rear Seat (im 1.87m, so i do really need it)
-KTM Power Parts Tank-Grips
-KTM Power Parts Tail-Tidy (to be replaced by R&G as soon as shipped)
-Small round mirror left
-Akrapovic Slip-On (W/O DB-Killer)
-Akrapovic Carbon Fiber rear Mudguard
-Racefoxx Fuelcap in Black
-Racefoxx reverse shifter (just tried to mount with original rearset, somehow won't work... )
-Rizoma Indicators all around (Rizoma ZERO, fits the bike perfectly with its "edgyness")
I am riding mostly in Switzerland and Schwarzwald (D) - happy to meet some other riders nearby, always up for a spontaneous ride!

You would be doing yourself a favour to cancel the R&G order and buy the Evotech one. Evotech will treat you like a human being and you won't have to wait for ages like you will with R&G (unless you buy off the shelf) - trust me - I'm an R&G free zone after loads of grief from them. Evotech products are way better engineered too.
Anyhow - nice bike even if it is the wrong colour!!
