Hello to all, everywhere,

My name's Jim (as you've probably guessed) & hopefully I'll be here to stay. This is the 3rd day of my inaugural KTM experience & the bike is a 2011 SDR. Unfortunately I've only got the ride home to savor so far due to the cracking weather. Having only owned Yamahas & Hondas over the years, the hankering for something European became a burden I could bare no longer...

I'd like to pay a big thanks to the forum prior to the purchase for the info I managed to acquire whilst I lurked. With intent

Welcome, there's a few of us from the midlands, i'm near Dudley myself. Get yourself on one of the crashfest events, there's one at Cadwell next month, and one in Spain, see the on track section for more info.

Yeah, I'm not far away at all really, I'm in Birlingham just after Eckistan & before Pershopolis.
Literally days after I made the decision to go for the SDR, I was at work 2 weeks ago on Saturday & a chap who works just down the road went past on his white SDR. Typical The last time I saw an SD in the flesh was about 3-4 years ago. Then the same one appears locally days before I get mine. I wonder if he's on the forum...
